Thlog sechs (six in German)

This week I learned a lot through writing my WP2. Seeing the feedback on my WP1 helped me kinda figure out what I needed to do differently this time but actually writing it helped me figure out how to do the things that I needed to. For example, one of the main things that I didn't understand was how to formulate an effective thesis and weave it in throughout. Writing this paper (don't get me wrong it was difficult as hell at first) showed me that I need to think of how every aspect of the prompt can tie back into the thesis.

I also figured out what I can do better next time. I waited until the end to try and tie in the course readings and that was really challenging. It would have been much easier to figure out how the course readings connected to my argument ahead of time so that they didn't seem so forced into my essay.

The other thing I learned this week is unrelated to my WP2. I learned that Bob Ross is really, and I mean really, freaking weird. Him saying "happy little trees" creeped me out really bad. I understand this isn't necessarily very relevant to this class but I already talked about the serious crap up above so just let me go on about this for a second. How did this strange man make such a name for himself?  I assume that people must have actually seen value in what he was teaching them. I just don't know how a person could be taking his painting classes seriously while he's saying a bunch of weird things in his super creepy soft voice. Maybe everyone just thought he was a funny dude and thats why he's famous for it…. Yeah lets go with that because I don't wanna believe I’m the only one who finds him extremely concerning.
