First,
because I’m excited about it, I would like to mention that I got an 89% on my
history paper that I got back this week! Also, a few days later, I got my
anthropology paper back and I got a 93% on that one. Now, you may be asking
“How is that significant to this class at all?” but I’ll tell ya why. I noticed
when I was writing those papers that I was using some of the things I’d learned
in this class. In fact, I think I mentioned in a previous thlog that I used
some things I’d learned when writing my anthropology paper (I think I talked
about how I got a little bold and started the paper out with a quote). I know
its not an A+ but I was pretty happy with those scores considering they were my
first college essays outside of the WPs. I went back and re-read the
anthropology paper after I got my grade and I noticed that I made a few dumb
mistakes so I guess next time I need to focus a bit more on re-reading and
revising… I did finish that at like 2 a.m. in the library the night before it
was due though so I guess I’ll cut myself some slack.
Okay
so now back to what I’ve learned this week. Well I learned how to make a
Weebly, I mean I technically also learned that Weebly exists, because before I
had no idea. I’m not a super techy person so I may not use it in the future but
its possible that I will because it doesn’t appear to be too challenging. I’m
still working on my portfolio but so far I’ve been kinda having fun with it. I
decided to add applicable quotes under each of my headings of the sections and
subsections and I think it looks pretty cool. Go Weebly!
So
here ends my last thlog ever… Goodbye my friends. Goodbye Zack!!! Thanks for
everything!
